Dreams are enigmatic

Dreams are enigmatic. It's funny to think we know so little about something so present. When we're lucky enough to remember them, their enigmatic nature raises more questions than provide answers. Disturbing situations, ambivalence, and contradiction: these products of our minds are boundless.
Due to its ethereal and difficult-to-capture aesthetic, telling a dreamlike story through photography is a challenge. Thus, long exposure and its blurring effect that replaces high fidelity with ambiguity are the guiding thread of this work along with dark environments and techniques that highlight the mystery of the unconscious mind.
Although dreams can't be completely understood, their depiction through art can help take them to a certain point where they become somehow visible and reveal new layers of us all.
